European Championships Ireland 23rd September to the 2nd October.
We are aiming to select the Channel Island Team by the end of July. The last Europeans were held in Jersey and we ran qualifying contests to select a very successful team. This year we will have a combination of qualifiers and wildcards in order to select the best team to travel to Ireland.
The surfer with the most points over 3 qualifying contests will be selected.
The team will comprise of:
Open x 4 or 6 TBD
Women Open x 2
Senior Men x1
Master x 1
Bodyboard x 2
Longboard x 2
Women bodyboard x1
Roley will determine the wildcard selection.

28th – 30th May, Watersplash
Qualifier 3 – Jersey Surfabout
June 25th/July 2nd, Watersplash

Roley McMicheal will be overseeing the selection process and will be the team coach going into the event. Roley will be organising a training schedule prior to the event.
Arlene Maltman will be the team manager and media liason.
We will be looking for a team of officials to help with the running of the contests; contest director, judges, timekeepers, co-ordinators and judges.
