Surfing is growing at a tremendous rate - locally, UK and overseas. The Jersey Surfboard Club is also enjoying a period of popularity and sustained growth across all age groups. To support and develop the skills of our junior surfers we have established an Academy.
In a typical year we organise locally based events, open to all ages and surfing standards, give financial support to our senior surfers who compete in UK, European and worldwide contests, and co-host an annual professional/amateur contest organised by the British Professional Surfing Association (BPSA), sponsored by Kangaroo Poo. This year, the BPSA event will be held in June opposite the Watersplash, St. Ouen.
